It is Russian but as to what I cant say, best guess is that it came back from the desert. The US army brought back almost every thing the could get there hands on for testing. I heard a rumor a while back that the russians had copied the Power Wagon down to the point where the 230 flat 6 would fit in thier early truck. Sounds like a good plan if it aint broke dont fix it
