I was going to drive 60 miles to some friends house to drop off some newsletter stuff for our Dodge Charger Club. A friend I work with said there were Power Wagons in a small town about 20 minutes from home. I decided to check it out on my way to the other place. Sure enough! I found 4 flat fender Power Wagons! 1 restored, 1 all original and being used and 2 parts trucks. One truck was used to haul hay bales and the farmer cut the roof off to have more visibility! :(
None of the trucks were for sale but I filled the guy in on whats out there now.
Dennis S may get a call for new running boards..
VPW may get a call for winch parts!
Gordon may get a call for a subscription to PWA. He had that magazine years ago when he got his first truck but didnt think it would still be around now. Was real surprised at the network of information I knew on the internet. He may show up here sometime soon.
Too bad he didnt want to sell. He did take my name and number and said he would call if he came across any for sale. He did say the city had been on his butt about cleaning things up so maybe he'll decide to part with one of the trucks!
