With the flat windshield and pivot arm shock absorbers the truck was a WWII WC of some sort. The PW nor the M601 or anything newer than the WC never had the pivot arm shocks. Some military trucks after the WCs did have flat windshields. The shock absorbers is the key thing that make it a WC.
