This discussion reminds me of one I heard just a weak or two ago.
A Police Officer on late night patrol pulls into a back parking lot behind a hotel. He observes a man, obviously under the influence, with a key in hand attempting to unlock several vehicles.
The Officer drives over and says, is this your car? The drunk says no, I can't seam to find my car.
Officer -- Where was your car the last time you saw it?
Drunk (with a slur) -- Well officer the last time I saw my car it was on the end of this key.
Officer -- So if your car is not here in this lot, then probably we can find it for you in the morning. Maybe I can give you a ride home. Where do you live anyway?
Drunk (again with a slur) -- I live over here just a few blocks on Elm Street.
Officer -- Jump in and I will give you a ride home. But just then he noticed that the guy's fly was open. He says, you better zip up your fly before you get in.
The Drunk looks down and says (again with a slur) Oh darn. Looks like I have lost my girl friend too. JJB.
