I hate car shows as well. You know what I hate about car shows? The people. As soon as I hear that horrific 50’s music playing I know got my wires crossed & ended up at a car show.
Here’s the difference between car people & truck people. I’ve had lots of rare trucks over the years & if I’m missing a part or I need a picture of some rare item, I have truck friends I’ve never met all around the world willing to help. I’ve even had people send me original parts to have moles made for castings…whatever it’s a tight knit community of folks trying to preserve history.
The car crowd….ok these guys pride themselves on having something you don’t have. No chance these guys will help anyone except themselves.
That’s what turned me to trucks. I like looking at the cars & driving them is great but if I never hear another 50’s song that will be great :)
