The door wedge can be purchased so you don't have to worry about destroying them. Here are the numbers:
Upper Wedge - CC-989513
Lower Wedge - CC-951137
They are made from Backlite, an early plastic. If it were me, I would take a hacksaw blade and cut threw the wedge on the inside next to the screw and break off the material. This will allow you to get to the screw threads. From there you can soak or try the wax method to get them out. Kroil is probably considered the best penetrating oil, if you're not using it, try it, and be patient, you don't want to drill them out if at all possible.
