For certain applications those are wonderful. Sometimes you just cant swing a ratchet or an end wrench so coming straight at it is the only way. Downside is, sometimes the bolt is rusted or has been set too tight or has been there for 70 years and won't turn. Then you go for your 12" or 18" extension for your ratchet wrench.
You can also buy them at Harbor Freight for much less.
Can't have too many tools. :)
