The thread size for the stud going into the axle housing on a 1/2 ton is 3/8-16, darn, that stud won't work.
You can do a couple things:
- Drill the out to accept 7/16 stud, or
½ ton stud C-622462

Use two-inch lgh. 7/16-14 grade 8 bolts and cut to the custom stud thread specs for 3/8-16, using a thread cutter die, not thread restorer die. Hopefully, this will display ok
