they took the plane down about 6-7 years ago. It's urrently at the Aurora Airport being restored to flying condition. Punky closed the restaurant a couple of years ago-told me before she closed it that business was dwindling, so she reduced the schedule to just breakfast and lunch. She also told me that the new crop of kids working there wouldn't show up half of the time. Real sad to see it go! I have seen the airplane up close-I have a bunch of friends doing volunteer mechanic work on it. A monumental task to say the least! I have a 64 Crew Cab-ex Air Force. Currently waiting patiently for me to have the time to replace the seized motor in it. Gotta couple of other projects lined up in front of it, but when it's done we need to get together for a cruise!
