Thanks, Vaughn. I'll inspect a bit more, but an internal fish plate may be the most efficient route. Not sure if stock weld or not, but there is a weld bead that actually joins that crossmember to the frame? You can see it running in the same direction as the frame.
I wonder if the same holes used for the spring perch can be utilized to secure the internal plate as well?
