stuck alignment pins in knuckle halves

I checked both my knuckles and found that they had some play in them, time for a knuckle rebuild. I have started on the passenger side but ran into a snag. The pins used to align the knuckle halves will not come out. I have used a hammer then went to the bigger hammer with not even a budge. I have heated using map gas hit it heated again and still nothing. Gone from top and below with the same results on both pins. I have loosened the knuckle bolts and tightened to no avail. Anybody have some tricks they use? Has anybody made any special tools to press these things out?
