hi todd, there are as many different reasons people want to change out the drivetrain as there are people. some good reasons,some bad. the hobby includes all types from the originalist to those who want highly modified trucks. mostly, it is about doing what you want to do regardless of what somebody else wants or does with their truck. my daily driver is a 69 w200, no ps, no pb a few dents and some rust, 55 is top speed. that said, i do get to drive a lot of different set ups. from my daily driver to a pw with a 2.8 cummins all the way up to the 707hp hellcat. i like them all
