1948 B1PW transfer case seals

Fixing transfer case output yoke leak and noticed the seal kit i got from VPW were a good deal thinner than the no doubt original ones i removed. I am speaking from front to back as they would press in. Is there any problem in using these and also i have original NOS ones but they to are not the same dimension as original and are leather. Thank you
