I tried something similar on my '06. Yeah, the tires looked cool, but the ride was terrible.
I was lamenting that they don't offer them in a 16
" or 17", but obviously they would also need to be more like 6 or 8 ply to be practical.
This is what keeps me away from those 900x16 12 ply tires that have are available.
