you still have something wrong...both levers go forward for 2wd high range, (the front lever is high-low, the rear lever is front axle engage, thus in order to go in low range the front axle must be engaged (pulled back) first then you can shift into low range by pulling the forward lever back, for high range 4wd you leave forward lever forward, an pull rear lever back to engage front axle. i still think the linkages are reversed, to test jack up one front tire, with engine off, and trans in neutral, place both levers forward then spin front tire, if it spins, front axle is disengaged, if it wont spin the linkage is wrong, if its ok, then lower it down, unlock hubs or remove drive flange then check high low by pulling both levers back and in that position your speed should be approx 1/2 of when both levers are forward. if the truck is faster with levers back the linkage is wrong. in a long shot the rebuilder may have installed the high-low gearing backward.
