Need opinions. I am thinking that if I want to use the original headlamp buckets and the original cowl light buckets, I will have to punch the larger holes and weld plugs, indent the pinholes and TIG a little metal into the hole, encapsulate the remaining rust on the inside, smooth the welds, and use body filler. And then there is the issue of the rusted out retaining nut tabs on the inside that will have to be drilled out, fabricated and riveted or screwed in. And then I still have to buy new outer and inner trim rings. Does that sound right?
