Hello All. I am a newbie to Dodges for sure and haven't worked on cars (Chevrolets) since the 1980s. My new to me 1977 W200 pickup has two fuel tanks. One has the fill cap near the driver's side wheel in the fender. The other has a keyed fill cap in the driver's side rear of the cab which fills a tank which extends the width of the cab and is directly behind the driver's seat. (?!) There is a switch in the dash to alternate between them, it works. Both tanks are, having just purchased it of course, nearly empty. Can I assume that the tank beneath the bed is the original tank and the one behind the bench seat is the auxiliary tank? Thank you!
