This is probably a question for Vaughn. Per his wonderful “MASTER-PARTS-INTERCHANGE/TECHNICAL DATA” list, I purchased a back-up light switch (SMP# NS11T) to be installed in my transmission top. I’m confused about the switch operation though; the instructions say to “Knock out the left shift rail front end plug, thread hole for 3/4x16 thread, and screw switch in.” However, after checking out the continuity between electrical pins when the contact pin is depressed or not, it seems as though the left REAR plug should be knocked out and that hole threaded. Anyone have thoughts?
