Simple. There are gaps in the window riser bar that the wheels go into. There are two post like screws in the same bar that need to be removed first. You need to crank the riser mechanism until the wheels match the slots in the metal bar on the window. Once in crank the window up some and replace the post like screws. The screws keep you from cranking too far causing the wheels to come out of the slot. Obviously the window needs to be in its tracks while doing this. Hopefully you didn’t put the bar on the bottom of the window on backwards.
