I didn't have a fancy tool for the job. Tried the weight of a bobcat tractor and then the hydraulic pinch of clam shell bucket. Did not do a thing to break the bead. There is a very thick aluminum rope in the bead. Slice or grind into the tire in a spot to get at that aluminum rope. The rope shrinks with age. I used a cold chisel or a sharpened screwdriver and big hammer to cut that rope. Once that is cut the bead released. Takes time, but not much money.
