My daughter just graduated from Emory and Henry this last May. The school is close by. We always wanted to stay at that hotel while in town and never did. I sent her a link so she can see it. That is a great truck with interesting past. Prior to repainting my truck I wiped it down with a linseed oil damped rag to preserve the old paint. Linseed is a polymeric oil which hardens with age and has a small molecular structure which enables deep penitration. Thin coats work wonders on bare and painted steel. Linseed is the medium for classic oil paintings.
Have fun with her.
