I'm buying an M37 - Practical to drive home?

I'm buying an M37. It's located a few hundred miles away. Travel time isn't an issue, comfort isn't an issue. I've driven lots of big and old trucks. I don't have any experience with an M37 and how they handle or ride.

If anyone has experience driving these over longer distance what would you advise?
