I just took some more measurements, and I think that 2 U joints are required anyway - the input on the PS box is 2 1/4" closer to the rail than the original. This means the wheel is going to offset closer to the door, or at an angle. I guess that the frame rails are more inboard in the PWs, as it seems that they can get away with one U joint.

Regarding "stock swing position" - what do you mean? Are you referring to the location of the output shaft? That will be in the same place +/- a touch.
