For up shifting,
At about 10 mph go from 2nd to 3rd.
At about 20 mph go from 3rd to 4th.
When down shifting, keep these speeds in mind and use as the point to down shift. At this point, when you are double clutching and arebout of gear and you've let the clutch out, speed up and then down shift. The amount you speed up to downshift takes practice.
