Marty, I have a '76 W-600 that is equipped with the lighter duty Dana 70 front, but the H-131{?} rear end. It has 6.17's for gears. My '68 W-500 has the Timken front end and it has 6.80's, which, as you said, is the only ratio available for the Timken, so until he figures out which front end he has, hard to say. Doug
