I don’t believe that you do not need to loosen or remove window channels in the door if I remember correctly. Insert glass at 90 degrees from final position from the outside of the door top into the window slot. Once in, rotate glass into correct position making sure it is in the front and rear tracks. The window cranking hardware needs to be all the way down. Once the window is in the channels, turn the crank so that the rollers on the arms line up with the slots in the bottom window frame. When inserted, turn the crank to slightly raise the window and install the roller stops into the lower window frame.
You may need to remove the window bumpers that are in the window slot in the door. They may interfere with tilting the window enough to install. Once the window in installed crank the window down and install the bumpers.
