Ingition on the 1975 dodge powerwagon

I cannot get the band off the steering column so I can get into the wiring. I removed the signal lever and gear shift but cannot get the ignition portion off. I also need to get a new fuse box. It holds 10 fuses and 2 flasher, do you know of a source?
