That '67 318LA as I recall was the highest HP rated 318 for years to come, irrespective of version 1 or 2. I think par with the poly's. After '67 they started economizing and such and the performance downgraded. I did a little research on this years ago and this is from recall. The '67 is a nice little LA and would be my choice for a stock 318LA.
