I posted pictures on this subject of making rear fenders for Power Wagon, WC-53 Carryalls years ago. The picture posted here is for Power Wagon.
We are lucky, M-37 fenders have exactly the same size and curve including the correct roll on the outside edge, and they are cheap. I bought a stack of NOS M-37 Rear Fenders for $25 each.
The problem is the the M-37 rear fender is to narrow as you can see in the picture. It takes 2 M-37 Rear Fenders to make on Power Wagon or WC-53 rear fender. All thats needed is to butt weld two fenders together, drill holes to mount to body. Also on the Power Wagon you need to reshape the rear lower of the 2 fenders now welded together to match the bottom curve of the Power Wagon design. Quick and easy !!
Yes, I know in the picture the M-37 Rear Fender is mounted backwards ! I had to do that so I had
a rolled edge to clamp some vice grips to the original PW fender. Some will say but its not a PW fender..Correct. But it looks right, it works and the price is right.
