For those of you that said the ribs face the windshield frame you are correct. The flat side of the gasket lays against the cowl.

Next question - for those of you that have installed a continuous gasket, how have you installed the little ribs or locks into the windshield frame? Did you press in or did you glue the gasket to the frame? See link
