clutch slave cylinder line question

the clutch slave cylinder has a line going to it that i would like to replace along with the slave and master.. on the end of the line on the slave side there is 3 loops then it goes into the slave.. Are those loops in the line for something.. i thought the previous owner might have had to get rid of some line but they are almost perfect if there not important i just go straight to the slave..
