Thanks Vaughn. Mine gauge looks like the thermo-magnetic type described in my Dodge manual, with two little coils that make the needle move. My gauge is a replacement and has no part number on it, unfortunately. Maybe it is the 6V version. If so, I think I could make that work with some simple resistors.
