greetings. I purchased a sander for our argo 6x6. i installed the unit, wired it up and you guessed it, dead controller. it appears to be a common issue. saltdogg is supposed to be an american made spreader, but the controller is made in china. I will need to send the supplied controller back, but i want to make my own speed controller as i have heard the supplied units are all bad or go bad. i'd like to make my controller plug and play with the stock wiring harness. I need help sourcing the connector, which appears to be a water tight connector. buyers AKA salt dog sells the connector pigtail for $45, which i think is super expensive for this item. im hoping some of the more experienced guys here can help me source this pigtail or help me identify it so i can purchase on my own. I'm thinking about making these controllers as a father and son project as my 14 year old son is looking for a small business project. please help if you can. thanks.
