Okay, my 2 cents. You guys don’t know me well ‘cause I’m mostly a lurker. I’m primarily a M-H owner, but also have a project B1PW126 Ashton wrecker.
This M-H is an old SnoGo, which explains low miles but hides high hours of operation. I saw that it’s missing a M-H transfer case lever. Also asked my guru friend to look at the ad and comment. Below is his assessment. Stu
“It's got the POSITIVE/COMPENSATING plate on the dash, and the transfer case looks like that one, so I have to assume the gentleman removed the lever. It had to have been a SnoGo, since it's got the Cotta 10 to 1 reduction box.
Nice oil filter conversion! I have to assume he removed the restrictor fitting, and because of that, the engine may have been compromised from lack of oil pressure. Something worth checking.
