I had a 1934 1 1/2 ton it was designated a Model BB the king pins had BB in a triangle then chromed, and about 1.5" diameter
I think the cars were "A" and trucks were "B" with large trucks, used as tractor trailers, dump trucks or flat beds were "BB", and still had manual breaks with push-pull rods operation breaks
