the crazy prices are on the fully restomodded or fully or overrestored trucks. i view it differently. those guys are making new sheetmetal and the older non restored trucks have the benefit of not being cut up anymore. literally every (almost) part for a ffpw is available now. trick is to get lucky on finding a base truck to build......
