Mike, is it possible you have a 251 exhaust manifold? These connect to the exhaust with 4 bolts, but obviously the port spacing won't be correct for a 230. I myself am looking for a 251 manifold as the port for for 6th cylinder on my truck has broken completely off and someone tried (unsuccessfully) to stick weld it back on.
