Hagerstown Aviation Museum.
Hagerstown, Maryland has a long association
with pioneering aviation. Fairchild built a plant during WWII that eventually grew to over 1,000.000 sq. feet. Since steel was a restricted material, the huge hanger was built of wood. They made trainers during the war and after, cargo planes and ended with the A-10 Warthog.
