Vaughn, I like to use red rubber grease whenever I work on a master cylinder or wheel cylinders. It's been proven over the decades to keep wheel cylinders happy, doesn't degrade the rubber parts and doesn't contaminate brake fluid. I'd be concerned about dielectric grease attacking the rubber components in the brake system.
