There are definite advantages to both. And disadvantages. Cables can get broken strands, pile up, etc. I think I am just what I hoped I never would have to admit....set in my ways. Getting older. :)
I feel the same way about synthetic rope on winces, electric winches where a PTO winch could be, carpet on Power Wagon floors, synthetic gun stocks.....
