When I worked in the exotic/classic car biz we always had round 50 vintage cars in the bldg. and the optimas were just a pain. if they went dead a regular charger wont charger them and the chargers we bought that will charge them only lasted 6 months at best. So we started replacing with regular batteries if there was any issue at all.
