Fuel line routing/connection into pump?

Bought the glass bowl pump for my 251 from VPW. Inlet faces front. Truck came with electric pump when I bought it. That's going away. I'm running new line from tank for the new pump. Looking for pics of the details for routing line and whether it transitions from steel to rubber at inlet and/or tank? It's a tight spot at motor and frame so not sure what it's supposed to look like.
