318 poly throttle return spring

Any ideas on where one might find one of these?
On my 1960 W500 Power Giant with the 318, the spring became very weak. I replaced it with one that looked similar, from the hardware store, and it was a definite improvement, but it’s a little “strong”. It’s very hard to adjust or use the hand throttle due to the tension present.
