I've put this AutoMeter tach in 3 different trucks and I like it a lot. It doesn't have an hour meter, but you can put one of those anywhere, maybe in the engine bay. 2 of the tachs I mounted on the steering column. It's easy to read and unobtrusive. On the 6x6 I mounted it in the dash and made a bezel to match the speedometer. Just for fun.
