Speaking of transmission issues, I have a friend with a truck that starts runs & drives properly. Shifts into gear, no problems. So it’s a non syncro in a 49 PW. After he drives it for a half hour or so, it starts getting hard to put into gear...like the clutch needs adjusting a little tighter but it shifts fine once it’s in gear...come to a stop & put it in neutral & it doesn’t want to go back into gear again??
So in my experience, the only time I’ve ever seen an issue like this was a truck with a pilot bearing that was too tight...like it would heat up & seize onto the input shaft. Seize so hard that even in neutral the truck would keep driving lol.
Any ideas? This truck has a new clutch & transmission gone through but that doesn’t mean it was necessarily done correctly :)
