Service Brake Woes

Hello all,
Seems like I have power brakes on my WC-12 after it sits for more than a day or two. After the initial start up and roll I apply the brakes and wow, the truck just shutters to a stop. Does not pull right or left. After I release the brake pedal and apply it again all is well. The brakes work fine after that. They release and there is no pulling to the left or right on application. The drakes don�t drag either. Could I have a faulty flexible brake hose(s). Thanks for any advice and you all have a great and safe 4th of July.
