This one was an excellent style. I made mine from a 55 gallon drum. Lots of ideas on YOUTUBE just look up Ugly Drum Smoker. It'll double as a grill, but once you try smoking, you'll be a convert.
You can buy these kits for $300+ , or you'd be hard pressed to spend $100 on a diy unit.
