6 Volt ground cable ???

this is for the Dodge WC series 3/4 trucks. Do you find that the factory style braided ground cable is sufficient to spin the motor as it should????? Helping a buddy get his truck started after 7 years of work. I always like 2 gauge cable for 6 volt on a side note he faught cancer right in the middle of the restoration. He wants to drive it for Fathers Day. He has done a great Job
