Having put a NICE Compressor on my 6x6 I learned a lot doing it. Got it all set up then the temps dropped and things froze up! Air being compressed cause the damp air to freeze in the lines and intake. So then I put a commercial truck air dryer on the outlet yep that worked for the output. I could fill the tank but the compressor froze up! So then I put a Air Dryer on the intake you use for painting with the crystals in the bowl and bought extra ones. Sure ended up being expensive to set it up right and they also draw power for a good one. In the end it was way to hard to keep it running right all year. Summer, spring or fall it is no problem but winter will ruin your compressor with ice if your not careful. Keeping it heated is another way. It was cool having my truck air dryer blowing off after it was shut off! Much cheaper to use a high pressure tank and regulator for as many times you will sound the horns and just fill it back up.
