I had my 230 completely overhauled by a competent machine shop. The engine has been running great the only concern was leakage around the new freeze plugs. I finally dosed it with bars and that seemed to help but yesterday she spit out a freeze plug while I was going up a slight incline at full throttle I think i shut it down before I caused any damage. The engine was running about 140-150degrees at the time. We were able to reinstall the plug with a sealer but I am concerned about that plug and the remaining ones. Any thoughts about what course of action might recover my lost confidence in the future reliability of my freeze plugs?
